Μessengers, mails and mobile phones are on fire, with requests made by friends-professsionals who want an E-shop, but the question of whether such an investment is worth it.

H.A: Lately, with the quarantine, E-shop matter is in the mind of every professional. Is E-shop the solution for any dicease?

N.D: Initially, it’s certain that a digital presence is needed.But what do we mean by digital presence?

  • Site acquiring all of your products/services in a functional way suitable for visibility from both both computer and mobile/tablets.
  • E-shop where a customer can make online purchases and pay by credit card or cash on delivery, the products he wants.
  • Application for Android or IOS.
H.A: In other words how can an enterpreneur proceed?

N.D: Some of them are value for money. Some others are overkill. Behind each solution there is a series of actions that need subsequently to be done and you must choose the right partner. Contact the right professionals. Analyze your needs to find the best solutions. The future is definitely(and)digital.

H.A: An example?

N.D: A friend and partner, owns a company importing prefabricated swimming pools, pool cleaning equipment and supplies. It has approximately 90 codes. She had an old website not even readable from mobile phones and wanted to have an e-shop. I prevented her. The most basic step is to create a website, with all the products, prices and codes, functional and upgradeable. Using the WordPress platform, in the next phase and when financial data help it, add the Woocommerce platform. 

H.A: So, website or e-shop and we started selling?

N.D: Here, unfortunately is the biggest misunderstanding. Even if it becomes the best website with the right keywords and operating environment, it will be one out of many. At the local level, the classic promotion in magazines or pages, does the trick up to a point but it’s not a panacea. You need to communicate with the target audience, through social networks, to make campaigns through Google Ads or Adworks. Essentially, it has to be understood that there has to be a person to engage in everyday, at least 2 hours.

H.A: What is the cost for a site or e-shop solution with support?

N.D: You asked me my favorite question so I will give my favorite answer. I want to buy a car, how much will it cost? As seemingly irrelevenant the question may be, it has clear similarities. A site with a Ferrari cost, but with needs for a Lada Niva, is just a waste of money. Therefore, the logic for a Site from X euros, finds me completely opposite. Before the implementation of every project, we speak extensively with the client, we analyze his needs, we make an offer and then we proceed with the implementation.
