Since his early steps in photography, Mr. Paterakis becomes partner of prestigious advertising companies, publishing houses and magazines.
Shortly after, his photos are hosted in front pages and covers of numerous magazines in Greece and issued in several publications abroad such as Wallpaper, Architectural Digest, Andrew Martin- Interior Design Review, Taschen, J.J Magazine.
His photoshoots adorn pages and book covers of both Greek and foreign publications, architecture- decoration- , cooking. His main professional activity is hotel photography abroad, Athens and Greek islands, travelling, architecture- interior and food photography.
His key clients are Hilton, Aman Resort, Sofitel and Radisson Blu.
Restless spirit, with various professional activities and artistic quests, did not hesitate to come across another visual path to express himself.
Just like his travels in Cuba and Japan, became source of inspiration and incentive for his first individual painting exhibition titled: “Iconic World” in November 2006. The known animated figures reflected on his pictures, drove him to present his first individual photograph exhibition in May 2008 titled “Shadows”.
Apart from these 2 individual exhibitions, has participated in a group exhibition as well, with a purely painting character, in July 2007 in Paros where food images with title “Fork-D-Tales” were exposed in Sani Resort Halkidiki during the annual gastronomy festival in May 2008. On 2010, in Met Hotel presents his second individual photography exhibition named “ Shadow Life”.
His art goes on through photography, an οccupation that will not cease to be an important part of his life.
