FDM Hospitality provides upgrade solutions for tourism businesses. It’s founder, Giannis Zachopoulos and his team offer innovative services.
Ten years were completed since winning the 2nd place and the silver medal in the World Cocktail Championship in 2010 for Giannis Zachopoulos, born and raised in Komotini.
On November 22-27, 2010 in the Island of Singapore, Ioannis Zachopoulos represented Greece in the largest and most historical competition at an international level, for bartenders.
He managed to stand out among leading representatives of the genre from 55 countries.
More than 54,000 entrants competed in the classic competition and flairtending with an original recipe.
Based on regulations provided in both preparation and execution, participants were judged in basic details such as mental strength, discipline and executive acumen.
2010 was the last year, in which only three winners out of 5 Cocktail categories were announced, who succeeded in winning at an Overall level.
Greece once again participated in this competition but had never earned a place in the top three not to mention points that would raise the country to the top world rankings.
With his participation, Mr. Zachopoulos, managed to win the 2nd place and the silver medal with the cocktail “Unforgettable Passion“.
This was at the same time the first great distinction for a Greek bartender at a global collective level.
Greece has been participating in international competitions since 1994 and this distinction sealed off the great work that had been done in recent years by EME in Greek Bartending.
After 20 years of experience in hospitality industry, Mr. Zachopoulos decided to partner with professionals in tourism field and together founded the innovative company FDM(Food & Drink Management) Hospitality Services.
“Our strategy supports flexible training programs, the redesign of F&B departments, and total quality systems.”
