One of the most eclectic and aromatic varieties is the famous Pine Honey of Thasos. Every spring and summer, beehives are transferred in Thasos, in a virgin forest of rare beauty. Pine honey is slightly dark and its antioxidant elements are incomparable.
Ιn a forest of natural beauty in Mount Athos(Halkidiki), beehives produce a kind of honey, rare as its taste. With a characteristic dark brown color and available in limited quantity, Chestnut Honey is synonym to unique quality.
In the area of Sithonia, Halkidiki the Riki, Heather Honey, a rare variety of top quality is produced. During autumn and with great attention, Mouriki’s family extracts a special variety of important dietary taste and solid texture, less sweet than other honeys.
In a coastal “thyme place” in early July, in Galaxidi, thyme honey is collected and harvested. One of the most globally known kinds of honey with fine aromas. With an appealing light amber color and authentic value of taste, Τhyme Honey, is considered to be the king of honeys.
