The Corinthian Wine Club makes a vigorous comeback encountering the Soul Kitchen aiming to introduce wine to the public, the personalities, the destination through a line of tasting & Food pairing evenings.

As a mission to spread both wine and culinary tradition of a region and designate the producers, the wine tasting evenings seek to establish and share a connection point through wine providing a communication channel where senses will have a ground of appeal.

More specifically, on Thursday, December 7, one of the most renowned estates in Nemea, the largest wine-growing region of ​​the country, Pirgakis Estate serves the most delicious experience at Soul Kitchen. After the 2023 vintage, which was extremely demanding but ultimately produced expressive wines as reported by the winemakers, we are about to savor the new vintages accompanied by favorite white and yellow cheeses, aged and unaged, as well as special selections of charcuterie.

The wine heritage of the region has left its story indelible with the vineyard of Nemea revealing the land, its people,  microclimate, native varieties but also the international ones, wine itself along with its vast history and culture.

A few words about the organizer

Its total annual production amounts to 70,000 bottles. The investment for the creation of a new wing where the production of sparkling wines is separated from the still wines as well as the construction of visitable facilities, combined with investments for the mechanical cultivation of the 120 hectares of vineyards it maintains amounted to 1 million euros.

It maintains an export presence in countries such as Germany, Belgium, England, Canada, the United States and Cyprus, while the presence of Pirgakis Estate in the Scandinavian countries is dynamic.

An evening dedicated to the wine roads of our region and its particular comparative advantages. You will have the opportunity to carry out your tasting under the guidance of the Corinthian Wine Club oenologist, Ioanna Davleri and the journalist-sommelier Katerina Karsioti, while shortly after 4 labels by Pirgakis Estate will land on your table with the food pairing consisting of a platter of cheeses, cured meats and many other delectable local dishes.
