Mario, Harry and their friends at Salt Odyssey shared a passion that became the cornerstone of their endeavor. They were true enthusiasts of the Greek organic food market before they decided to embark on a “trip” to salt and spices. Their preoccupation with food is a family affair. They reserve stores and a health food production workshop in Thessaloniki since 1982!
Their main raw material is the qualitative Greek salt, from Messolonghi, a region protected by the Ramsar environmental treaty. All other raw materials are chosen in the light of the excellent organoleptic properties (taste, aroma, color), certified organic cultivation (herbs, sesame) or traditional processing (smoked paprika).

Besides the excellent final product, their suppliers have a certain philosophy. They are driven by their love of what is being produced and what characterizes them is nurture for the consumer, who chooses their fine products.
What they love most in their work is the daily contact with flavors, colors, aromas that create products standing out for their quality and authenticity. The feeling that the creation of new flavors has no bounds, fills them with appetite for new creative ideas, recipes and products!
