La magnificenza al servizio della goduria meaning the grandeur in the service of pleasure.

I borrow from the homeland of REFOSCO variety a successful expression used by the Italians to express their admiration for the great wines!

Indeed in the village of Adam on the slopes of Chortiatis outside Thessaloniki and at an altitude of 250m, the famous Italian from FRIULI found a hospitable ground to generously unfold her virtues and give us  a “meditation wine” , that is a wine of contemplation of those you give time and peacefulness to reciprocate the enjoyment to the maximum and to all your senses.

The privately owned vineyard of OINOI ADAM winery with the low acreage yield, organic cultivation in shale soils and small production guarantees the result of this rare variety in the glass.

Deep Ruby colour.

On the nose rich in aromas it gives ripe expressions of blackberry, black cherry, gooseberry, dark chocolate but also blueberry on a background of sweet spices. Hints of skin and bacon alternate over time with vanilla and mineral elements.

In the mouth dry but also velvety despite the high acidity while its stay in a barrique for 18 months softens its tannins impressively.

Full body with great concentration leaves the burning sensation controlled by its 15 alcoholic degrees offering a long complex and elegant aftertaste with notes of vegetativeness and imperceptible bitterness

Ιt has the power to submit every grilled or oven baked premium cut.

Urges long enjoyable wine drinking with wild-boar stew. Recipes that are dominated by sweet spices such as cinnamon clove and nutmeg with rich béchamel cream lead to another dimension while the dim vegetativeness and bitterness that leaves in the aftertaste give the green light also for aubergines imam style(baked with tomato and herbs).

It can also close the dinner nicely with bitter chocolate, a quality that few red dry have.

It will remain in your cellar aging beautifully for the next 10 years.
