Executive Chef Kostas Koveos in collaboration with Fylatos Publishing presents to the Greek public his first concerted writing effort, Cooking@Home. This is a recipe book with easy ideas to execute homey food recipes with style and character.
The idea behind the Cookbook
After several years of food recipes prescription, I decided to collect a small part of them and “tie” them into an easy to read book.
I do not single them out, I do not classify them. They are all part of my life, either at an earlier culinary level or at a more advanced one.
Cooking@Home is my own recipes’ anthology, the one that I would like to share with family, friends and colleagues for an enjoyable time around the table.
Recipes’ Philosophy
Recipes’ philosophy is clear. Comfort, daily recipes with useful tips and variations, which you can easily make at home for your loved ones.
Detailed steps and many tests guarantee the result of the recipes, even with a lack of material or technical error.
Some of these recipes are included on many of my professional menus, but at Cooking@Home they have been simplified in techniques and presentation, so that everyone can easily enjoy them from the comfort of their kitchen.
Cooking@Home book’s target
Recipes are everywhere. On the Internet, on television, in print and magazines. But how many of these recipes are standard, tested at both professional and home level as well as branded?
The goal of this book is to learn how to cook properly and to expand the reader’s horizons through the various tips.
Do not be afraid to experiment, try new ingredients and combinations. Besides, many great recipes came from mistakes or instant inspirations.
