Taking over an olive mill in Messolonghi with a history dating back 3 generations, Mr Papathanasiou set the company up.

A family business remaining active in the olive oil production since 1997.

I was inducted to the secrets of olive oil production at the early age of 14. By taking over at 24, I made my life’s work to do something unique. In order to do that, I decided to invest on young people, eager to work.

His dream was to succeed in introducing Ladoelia, an olive oil of top quality worthy of peoples’ expectations.

To that end, he formed a group of young people with an average age of 28 years, once fellow students in abroad.

Conceiving Ladoelia, a great opportunity stood before us. To return to our birthplace and invest on local community.

Combining the expertise, know-how and state-of-the art equipment, Papathanasiou’s family olive mill produce virgin olive oil of top quality.
