Region of Attica in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Sports and the Acropolis Chef’s Club highlight the importance of agri-food.
The emblematic products of the Attica land and the sites connecting them, was the main idea for the creation of a 6 minute video by the Region of Attica in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Sports along with the Acropolis Chef’s Club support.
The video captures the uniqueness of Greek products, intertwined with tradition and gastronomy, while the aerial shots at the sites offer an impressive result.
Olive oil, pistachio, figs, wine and honey, play a leading part alongside famous landmarks such as Temple of Poseidon in Sounion, Τemple of Afaia in Aegina, Temple of Artemis in Vravrona and Κythira Chora Castle.
Acropolis- Chef’s Club of Attica, in the framework of a Co-operation Agreement with the Region of Attica curated video’s gastronomy concept.
Video’s Concept
The actress, impersonating future Chef’s grandmother, Maria Skountzou, tragedian of the National Theater, manages to convey memories inextricably linked to the origin of the products and exalt their unique characteristics.
Τhe alteration of camerawork from past to present depicts the Chef transferring to his dishes beloved childhood memories.
The Hotel
Production’s shooting took place at the MiraMe Αthens Boutique Hotel, in one of the most iconic city’s spots low on Ermou Street and a few meters from Asomaton Square.
The building, a typical Athenian 1925 house with its store on the ground floor, which has been declared a landmark, has turned into an urban boutique hotel.
Τhe property expresses the lively character of this unique neighborhood and bridge the classic tradition with the urban, modern spirit.
