Retro, nostalgic ambience, an experience taken from the past that invites you to enjoy delicious flavors, quality, cooked food with pure raw materials.

Spitiko owned by Ourgantzidis family, relying on their love for food, established a cozy spot side where visitors can taste exquisite Greek recipes with an abundance of love and passion.

Prompted by the concept of ​​reviving home cooking flair that will proffer mouthwatering flavors while preserving the personality of the neighbourhood, Stella Ourgantzidou, the youngest member of the family, set up Spitiko in 2013 on the pedestrian street of Nea Kallikrateia. Town of Chalkidiki, Nea Kallikrateia, is only 30 kilometers away from Thessaloniki and is one of the first large holiday villages that travellers will encounter on their route to Chalkidiki.

As Chef Sofia Ourgantzidou characteristically stresses out:

The menu is based on the excess wealth of Greek cuisine and our flavors are clearly “homemade”, traditional. Our goal is to make guests feel at home. The palette of savour varies and includes traditional dishes, fresh fish, shellfish as well as meat.

The exterior decoration of Spitiko is designed in such a way that from the first moment a feeling of comfort and familiarity is formed, an oasis of cool breeze granting moments of relaxation at the outdoor fountain.

On very hot or even very cold days, a room with suitable air conditioning is available.

Spitiko acquires two interior kitchens. The first operates for the food preparation, the role of which has been undertaken by two excellent cooks. The second includes the A la carte kitchen where a la minute dishes are produced, the menu of which is curated by Sofia Ourgantzidou and her brigade.

At the entrance of the store, visitors will find all hot meals placed in a display case with the service starting very early in the morning.

The family business of Spitiko is open all year round and counts fortuitously 10 consecutive years occupying a high preference both with the Greek and international public ensuring the excellent quality of the raw material, consistency of taste, elegant interiors and  friendly service.
